Privacy Policy
How CloudYukthi handles cookies, local storage, and any information you share by contacting us.
CloudYukthi is a personal blog run by Pushparaju Thangavel. This page explains, plainly, what the site actually stores and collects. It’s not a generic legal template.
CloudYukthi does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. It uses two small entries in your browser’s local storage:
theme: remembers whether you’re viewing the site in light or dark mode. Purely functional; no data leaves your browser.cookie-consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice, so it doesn’t reappear on every visit.
Neither of these is shared with any third party, and neither is used for tracking or advertising.
- No analytics or visitor-tracking scripts are running.
- No advertising or ad-tracking cookies are set.
- Comments are not enabled.
- No newsletter or email capture is in use.
If any of this changes, such as through the addition of privacy-friendly analytics, this page will be updated first, and the cookie notice will be updated to reflect what’s actually being asked for.
Like most web hosting, the server that serves this site may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser/user agent, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting purposes. This is standard hosting-provider behaviour, not something CloudYukthi configures or actively analyses.
The form on the Contact page collects four things: your name, your email address, an optional subject, and your message. Here’s what happens when you send it:
- The message is delivered by email to my mailbox, pushparaju@cloudyukthi.com, which is hosted with the site’s web host.
- An automatic acknowledgement email is sent to the address you entered, so you know the message arrived. It doesn’t repeat what you wrote.
- To limit spam, the server keeps a short-lived rate-limit record keyed on a hashed (not plain) form of your IP address. It holds only submission timestamps and expires after about an hour.
Nothing else is stored. The form doesn’t write to a database, and your details aren’t sent to any third-party form service.
If you email me at pushparaju@cloudyukthi.com, use the contact form, or message me on LinkedIn/X/GitHub (see Contact), I’ll have whatever information you choose to share in that message. I don’t add contacts to a mailing list or share that information with anyone else.
Posts may link to third-party sites (for example, AWS documentation, GitHub repositories, or YouTube videos). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn’t cover.
If this policy changes, the update will be reflected on this page. There’s no dated changelog kept separately; the content here is always the current, accurate description of what the site does.
Questions about this policy? Email pushparaju@cloudyukthi.com or use the contact form and I’ll get back to you.
